Study Says Marijuana Not Gateway Drug

Duh. Finally science mimics common sense. Still, it makes you wonder just what is a gateway drug? I found heroin to be prohibitive, unable to really drink or smoke afterwards. Ecstasy didn't really lead to harder things, though I usually chain-smoke a few packs of menthols. Alcohol is really the worst gateway drug I've ever done. After getting shitfaced, I usually welcome any and all further chemical companions. With pot still demonized and alcohol advertised, the irony continues. Thousands of deaths each year from alcohol. How many pot-related deaths each year? Zero. Let me reiterate that to put it into perspective. Zero. -Bill Hicks.
