amazing trip to Tokyo for a white Xmas. we only managed to take 10 pictures, testament to how good the trip was. didn't make it to the ski slopes. didn't make it to a friend's rave in the mountains. didn't even make it out of Shibuya. hooked up with the resident djs of Womb. ignored James Murphy, Shitrobot, and David Morales for the local underground electro scene. wicked techhouse afterparty, walking around trashed & sleep-depped in japan is the closest i've ever come to living in a comic book. loved the privelage of escorting Czarina Kriz through tokyo's Gothic Lolita scene. props to random foreigner Amr for the travel tips and meme connection. thanks for the hospitality from Xaki & NOP. check out NOP's tracks here. they found it especially amusing that our only travel itinerary was record shopping and clubbing.
